We reframed these vintage cigarette cards. They are small pieces of silk with incredible detailed prints of ceramic art. Each print has got its own little mount with an inside and outside bevel. Then fixed to a grey background card and framed in a black frame.

Glass display case for a @coventrywelsh
Rugby ball. The glass case is locked in place so nobody can take the ball simply out of the case. If access to the inside is necessary, the case can be unlocked from underneath and the glass case can be lifted off. The ball sits on a custom made acrylic pedestal with a black engraved plaque.

Of course, you could choose the most horrible frame and mount colour that would look nasty in any location if you desired.
But it's really a matter of personal taste and the hanging location.
